A Vision to feed the nations
We are a family business that processes, packages and ships lentil snacks and instant lentil soups! Our lentil snacks are unique because they are soft like sunflower seeds, nutty in flavour, crispy like chips and can be enjoyed by the young and the old. They are a stand alone snack that can be paired with your favourite trail mix or salad.
All of our lentil soups are "instant" meaning ready after 15 min of steeping in hot water.
We designed all of our packaging to reflect the nature of the wholesomeness of our products and we bring to market the best quality food!
Our Story
How our high quality lentil food products started.
It began with Steve "owner and founder"growing and exporting lentils for many years, he saw the waste there was when lentils were not utilized soon enough. He began a journey of processing lentils, and over time finding a way to infiltrate the lentil seed and remove the acidic and bitter taste naturally found in unprocessed lentils. This process does not remove the nutritient value nor the high level of protein found in a lentil, in fact our process improves taste and makes lentils more palatable.
We, Steve, Leanne and (daughter) Shea-Marie joined together to create a family business and began with making crispy lentil snacks and quick cooking lentils for soups and stews that we call (instant lentils). Leanne and Shea-Marie "owners and founders" then began baking with lentils and found success with lentil banana bread and lentil brownies.
We have already started planning future recipes involving lentils as the main ingredient and look forward to growing our own lentils for a secure supply.
Our process is protected through the trade secret agreement.
We believe that we’ve begun a vision for feeding the nations, and have plans to continue to grow and expand.
